With these search facilities you can obtain some very useful information to assist in your breeding program. You can locate animals from the Australian Heritage Angus Herd book based on a whole range of criteria including name, colour, tattoo, years of birth, registration status, sires progeny, dam progeny to name just a few. Any combination of the criteria can be used for your search. Each search criteria added would limit your search, finding only those, which meet ALL criteria. If you are unsure, it may be better to choose only one field at a time, clearing old criteria before beginning a new search.

Searches are not case-specific.

Name

Enter the start (i.e. the Stud Prefix) or the animal’s entire name. You can enter KOBBLEVALE (Stud Prefix) or to find animals that start with the name KOBBLEVALE. If you know the animals name you can enter KOBBLEVALE COPY CAT but you can’t search on KOBBLEVALE and expect to find results for animals whose names are KOBBLEVALE COPY CAT. If you’re not certain of the exact name, you can use the wildcard character (%). For example, enter KOBBLEVALE COPY% or KOBBLEVALE C% CAT. Please note that the wildcard character cannot be the first character of the animal’s name.

Tattoo(s)

Enter one or more animal tattoos separated by commas (e.g. KOBL101, KOBL202, KOBD003). Do not put a space between the tattoo letters and the number/year (e.g. KOBL101, not KOB L101)
