STEER PROGRAM – Australian Heritage Angus

Following the commencement of our steer program with Golden Pastoral Company, 12 month old steers are being grass fed fattened to 18 months, supplying the top end butcher trade in Brisbane with premium Australian Heritage Angus beef.

Our steer program gives members a guaranteed outlet for their premium yearling steers.
Breed with confidence for above average prices per Kg live weight.

Specifications include;

Breeders must be members of the Australian Heritage Angus Cattle Association to participate in the program.
Steers need to be in good forward condition at 12 months of age.
Steers need to be in the 200kg – 250kg weight range at 12 months of age.
Steers need to be from a grass-fed background.
